I was so pleased to visit you all at Courtmacsherry in October. It was very pointiant as, not only was it my grandson Georges 5th birthday, I was able to see where my eldest son Stuart works - the Lifeboat!!
It was great to meet some of the crew, especially Sean and Darra, and share a beer or two......
Courtmac is truly beautiful and I shall be a frequent visitor!!!

We are just back in the US after a two week holiday in Ireland. Definitely the highlight of our trip was our week in courtmacsherry, learning about the life boats was fascinating. We just want you to know that even we Americans appreciate all you do.
What lucky folk to live in such a beautiful spot surrounded by your beautiful selves.
With grand appreciation and gratitude for the fact we were able to get to know you and your town.

What a wonderful site. We've had stories of a great grandfather who manned the lifeboats out of Courtmac after the Lusitania was sunk. I will be sure to share your site with the next generation. Congratulations on all your excellent work!

Photos, brought back great childhood memories of playing around the lifeboat station or walking below the village from the pier to the hotel. Well done on a great site

Excellant site. It was nice to be able to see a picture of the boat, my Grandfather Denis Driscoll served upon, I guess he may even be pictured onboard.
Best Wishes

My wife and I lived in Bandon 1973-79, and in Cobh (1979-80). We felt an affinity with the Courtmac RNLI, passing by the boathouse a couple of times a week in connection with our work as we did. We have nothing but admiration for those who give so freely of themselves in behalf of those in peril on the sea. This is an excellent site. Please keep up your fine work.
